Our proposal demolished the detached garage and single-storey dining room at the rear of the property and built a two-storey extension to the rear. The extensions aimed to harmonise the overall design of the house using materials more in keeping with the original property and its setting within the conservation area, using painted featheredge boarding, red brick, and painted sash windows.
